About Matthew C. Tramm

Matthew Tramm is an Arden Hills native with a passion for serving his fellow Minnesotans. In his younger years, he was a captain of the Mounds View High School Hockey team before going on to play college hockey for Bethel University. Matthew considers it an honor and a privilege to serve his clients and leverages all of his past experience, illustrated below, to provide the best representation possible.

Political and Government Work

Matthew has experience working in Washington, D.C. for an established political consulting and strategy firm where his services were utilized by several successful congressional campaigns. Locally, Matthew also served in an executive role on the successful re-election campaign of Supreme Court Justice Barry Anderson. Justice Anderson motioned for Matthew’s admittance to the Minnesota Bar - which was a true honor for Matthew. He also served in the Ramsey County Attorney's Office protecting some of the most vulnerable members of the county. Matthew made over 400 appearances in district court in this role.

Private Practice and Financial Sector

Matthew has valuable experience practicing law in a distinguished Twin Cities firm where he represented various types of clients, including various municipalities, individuals, business owners and even Amazon.com. He has served as an Officer of the 7th largest banking corporation in the United States, working in its Trust Services division. It was in this role that he discovered his passion for serving clients in a deeply meaningful capacity in all matters related to the administration of trusts, agencies and other estate planning instruments.

Establishment of Tramm Law Firm, PLLC

After witnessing how horribly traditional estate planning was failing some of his clients in his role as a corporate trustee, Matthew decided that the biggest positive impact that he could have on people's lives was to start his own private estate planning law practice. In 2017, He launched Tramm Law Firm, PLLC in order to provide clients with superior legal services in all matters where sincere effective legal representation is critical.

EDUCATION

Matthew is a graduate of Hillsdale College in Michigan where he earned a degree in political economics and graduated Cum Laude.

Later, Matthew attended the Hamline University School of Law on a Presidential Scholarship and earned his way onto the Dean's list, the Law Review and the National Moot Court team - again graduating Cum Laude.

Matthew resides in Arden Hills with his wife Ashley and their daughters Madeline and Mollie.
